We’re excited to welcome Ava Chavarria to the Vistal team as our Marketing Intern for the 2025–2026 school year.
Born and raised in San Diego, California, Ava is entering her senior year at North Dakota State University, where she’s pursuing a degree in Marketing with certificates in Professional Selling and Event Management. She plans to continue her education with a master’s in marketing next year.
Ava brings a diverse background of experience, including roles at Olive Garden, Summit Nutrition, and an internship as an Executive Team Leader at Target. She’s also coached softball camps, showcasing her leadership and team-building skills. Ava describes herself as compassionate, and her enthusiasm for collaboration and creativity makes her a great fit for Vistal’s culture.
What Ava loves most about marketing is the creativity and the many avenues it can take you. She’s passionate about turning ideas into reality—whether it’s developing promotions, designing content, or building strategy. “I have lots of fun ideas I want to make possible,” she says, “and I love seeing growth in the things I do.”
She chose Vistal for the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing, including branding, design, social media, videography, and digital strategy. Ava was drawn to the supportive and driven team and values the strong sense of camaraderie and relationship-building that defines our culture.
Outside of work, Ava enjoys staying active through sports and fitness, spending time with friends, traveling, cooking and baking, and trying out new coffee shops whenever she can.
